Open AI conference CFPs and speaker calls right now (Nov 2026 to Feb 2027)
If you want to speak or publish at an AI or agent-engineering event this winter and spring, several serious calls are still open. The soonest deadline we checked is mid-November (ContainerDays London and CVPR). Through December you can still apply to speak at AI Council in San Francisco, submit to RSS and CPAL, or pitch ContainerDays Warsaw and the Dutch AI Conference. Later calls for IJCAI, AI Coding Summit Asia, AI in Production and the Optimized AI Conference run into January and February.

Closing in November: act this week
ContainerDays & AI Context London (closes 15 November)
Dockland Media’s London edition pairs container and platform engineering with an AI Context track (MCP, infrastructure for contextual apps, governance, case studies). The Sessionize call closes on 15 November 2026 at 23:59. The organizer’s text on that page says CET; Sessionize’s close-time widget lists GMT Standard Time (UTC+00:00). Submit well before that evening. Formats are onsite only: 15-minute lightning, 30-minute talk or 45-minute workshop. Travel is not covered. The event itself is 10–11 February 2027 in London.
CVPR 2027 (closes 16 November)
The IEEE/CVF Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition conference runs 20–25 June 2027 in Seattle. The call for papers is firm: paper enrollment by 10 November 2026 (two days after we checked), submission by 16 November 2026, 11:59 pm AoE, supplements by 23 November. Submissions go through OpenReview. Topics now explicitly include agentic AI and physical AI alongside classic vision. No extension is promised. For the full official timeline see our CVPR 2027 guide.
ESANN 2027 (closes 18 November)
The 35th European Symposium on Artificial Neural Networks, Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning is hybrid in Bruges, Belgium, 21–23 April 2027. The official site lists the submission deadline as 18 November 2026, with decisions on 22 January 2027. Good fit if you work on neural nets, machine learning or related computational intelligence and want a European venue that also offers online participation.
December deadlines
RSS 2027, Athens (4 December)
Robotics: Science and Systems returns 6–11 July 2027 in Athens. The official site lists the extended-abstract deadline as 4 December 2026, 11:59 pm AoE, then a multi-stage review with rebuttal in February and final acceptance at the end of April. Single-track research conference; strong if your work is robotics science rather than a product talk.
CPAL 2027, Tokyo (5 December)
The Conference on Parsimony and Learning invites work where sparsity, low rank, symmetry or other structure is central — including when that shows up in foundation, generative or agentic models. Proceedings papers are due 5 December 2026 AoE; a Recent Spotlight track closes 18 January 2027. The conference is 23–26 March 2027 at Hitotsubashi Hall, Tokyo. Details: cpal.cc.
AI Council 2027, San Francisco (11 December)
Practitioner event, not a paper conference. The apply-to-speak page says the deadline to submit is 11 December, with decisions by mid-December. Talks are 45 minutes (prepare 35–40 of content); lightning and Launchpad slots are 15 minutes. They want systems you actually shipped — architecture, tradeoffs, failure modes — and they do not accept non-technical or promotional pitches. Speakers must present on site in San Francisco, 23–24 March 2027.
ContainerDays AI Context Warsaw (15 December)
Same family as London, onsite in Warsaw 23–24 February 2027. The Sessionize call closes 15 December 2026 at 23:59 CET (Sessionize’s close-time widget lists Central European Standard Time, UTC+01:00). Formats are onsite only: 15-minute lightning, 30-minute talk or 60-minute workshop (an hour, longer than London’s 45-minute workshops). Tracks include AI + ML, platform engineering, observability and security. Travel is not covered.
Dutch AI Conference / Dawn Conferences, Amsterdam (18 December)
Dawn Technology runs Appdevcon, Dutch AI Conference, Webdevcon and Dutch PHP Conference under one roof in Amsterdam 16–19 March 2027. The shared Sessionize CFP closes 18 December 2026 at 23:59 (W. Europe Standard Time, UTC+01:00). Speakers who are accepted get travel and hotel support (details on the Sessionize page). Dutch AI Conference main sessions are listed for Thursday 18 March; workshops sit on the pre-conference days.
Still open into 2027 (plan ahead)
These are past the “this month” window but worth calendar reminders:
- IJCAI 2027, Kyoto, with a Hengqin satellite: abstract 4 January 2027, full paper 11 January 2027 AoE. Main dates 7–13 August 2027; the Hengqin satellite is 15–17 August 2027. Official: 2027.ijcai.org.
- AI Coding Summit Asia, Singapore + online: CFP open until 12 January 2027. In-person day 16 April, remote 20 April 2027 (bundled options with React Summit Asia exist). Official: aicodingsummit.com/asia.
- AI in Production, Newcastle upon Tyne: abstracts by 29 January 2027. Workshops + talks 10–11 June 2027 at The Catalyst. Focus is shipping and operating ML/LLM systems, not theory. Official: ai-in-production.jumpingrivers.com.
- Optimized AI Conference 2027, Atlanta: the Sessionize call runs through 28 February 2027 at 23:59 Eastern. Event 31 March–1 April 2027. Official: oaiconference.com.
How to pick which CFP to enter
- Match the format. Paper conferences (CVPR, ESANN, RSS, CPAL, IJCAI) want original research. Practitioner stages (AI Council, ContainerDays, Dawn, AI in Production, OAI) want shipped systems and honest failure modes.
- Watch the timezone. AoE (Anywhere on Earth) is UTC−12. CET and other Sessionize closes are local Europe evening — do not assume midnight in your city, and submit early if a page lists more than one timezone.
- One strong proposal beats three vague ones. AI Council and Dawn both say they prefer specific systems and clear learning outcomes.
- Check travel rules early. Dawn covers speaker travel; ContainerDays does not. AI Council requires on-site speaking.

Frequently asked questions
- Which AI conference CFPs are still open in November 2026?
- Among events we checked on 8 November: ContainerDays London (15 Nov), CVPR 2027 (16 Nov) and ESANN 2027 (18 Nov), then a December cluster including RSS, CPAL, AI Council, ContainerDays Warsaw and the Dutch AI Conference.
- What is the difference between a call for papers and a call for speakers?
- A call for papers usually means a peer-reviewed research submission (often archival). A call for speakers is a programme committee picking talks for a practitioner or industry stage. Some events run both.
- Can I still speak at AI Council 2027?
- Yes, if you submit by 11 December 2026 on aicouncil.com/apply-to-speak and your proposal is technical and based on work you shipped. Decisions are due mid-December; speaking is in person in San Francisco.
- Where should agent and MCP talks go?
- ContainerDays / AI Context (London and Warsaw) list MCP and contextual-AI tracks. AI Council wants production systems. Agentics Day Europe (KubeCon co-located, Barcelona, 15 March 2027) already closed its CFP on 18 October 2026 — attend or watch for the next edition.
